Eduard Batlle, ICREA researcher and group leader of the Colorectal Cancer Laboratory at IRB Barcelona, has received the Health Sciences Award in the Research category, as echoed in an article in the “Ideal de Granada” newspaper. Given by the Caja Rural de Granada Foundation, this award has been granted to the study entitled “Identification of molecular subtypes with poor prognosis in colorectal cancer through tumour stroma”, because it opens up a new way of understanding cancer.
