Various media outlets have reported on the findings on Kennedy's disease of Xavier Salvatella's group, ICREA researcher and leader of the Laboratory of Molecular Biophysics. The study was published in the Biophysical Journal, part of the Cell group.

The research focused on studying a particular region of the protein Androgen Receptor, which is mutated in patients with Kennedy's disease.
