David Rossell is manager of the Biostatistics and Bioinformatics Unit in the Institute for Research in Biomedicine. After graduating in the joint Rice – M.D. Anderson PhD Biostatistics program in December 2006, he spent a year as a post-doctoral fellow at the Department of Biostatistics at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.

His research interests include experimental design, model building and selection, meta-analysis, high-throughput experiments such as microarrays and treatment of missing data, with emphasis on the Bayesian approach.
