The damage repair complex MRE-11 is associated with enhanced chemosensitivity

Diario Médico interviews Travis Stracker, who has recently left the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center of New York to set up in Genomic Instability and Cancer Lab at IRB Barcelona.

The North-American scientist explains the research lines that he will start in his new lab. Among these, special mention is given to the study of the MRE-11 complex, a DNA repair pathway associated with enhanced chemosensitivity of lymphomas.
