Barcelona, Spain. November 19-20, 2009
The workshop is aimed at advanced graduate students and postdoctoral fellows and will deal with state-of-the-art technologies for the expression of proteins and multisubunit protein complexes in yeast. Fundamentals, practical methods and illustrative examples for S. cerevisiae and P. pastoris will be presented in depth by expert speakers. Advantages of expression in yeast in comparison with other expression systems, such as E. coli, baculovirus-infected insect cells or mammalian cells, will be discussed.
