Las actividades dirigidas a la comunidad de estudiantes de doctorado del Instituto de Investigación Biomédica tienen como objetivo proporcionar a estudiantes de carreras científicas de todo el mundo la oportunidad de formarse e investigar en un ambiente científico internacional y multidisciplinario. El IRB Barcelona tiene el compromiso de ofrecer a sus estudiantes una educación de alta calidad, ofreciendo una supervisión cercana y acceso a una gran variedad de actividades científicas, servicios y redes. Introduction to PhD Activities at IRB Barcelona

IRB Barcelona International PhD Programme fellowships

The objective of this national call is to attract talented students by giving them an opportunity to begin their doctoral studies at IRB Barcelona. The training programme is launched with the aim to serve as a ‘bridge’ to cover the funding gap that students may experience between the time they receive their degree and when they begin to receive an external grant.

Doctoral fellowships are available for the academic year 2011-2012.

"la Caixa"/IRB Barcelona International PhD Programme fellowships

The “la Caixa” Foundation has launched a fellowship programme to recruit talented students from across the world to do their doctoral thesis work at the Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB Barcelona).

The “la Caixa” Foundation is a not-for-profit organization funded by the third largest financial entity in Spain, the Pension and Savings Bank of Barcelona, “la Caixa”. Based on its budget and activities, “la Caixa” Foundation is one of the ten largest foundations worldwide.

A total of 10 doctoral fellowships are available for the academic year 2012-2013.
