IRB Barcelona is a self-standing, non-profit institution devoted to basic and applied biomedical research. It was set up in 2005 jointly by the Government of Catalonia and the University of Barcelona and is located at the Barcelona Science Park. The institute currently has more than 430 members (scientific, technical and administrative staff) from all over the world, who work across disciplines to advance research in the biomedical sciences.

IRB Barcelona is seeking a Research Assistant for a 7 months position to join the Signalling and Cell Cycle Laboratory led by Dr. Angel R. Nebreda.
The candidate will work on the regulation and function of stress kinase pathways. The contract will be funded by the Call of ‘Indústria de Coneixement 2019’ form the Universities and Research of the Department of Business and Knowledge of the Generalitat de Catalunya, with reference 2019PROD00138 and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Union, within the framework of the ERDF Operational Program for Catalonia 2014-2020.
