Can you train yourself to be creative? - Creative techniques to disseminate the scientific method

The scientific method is probably the most recognised approach through which to acquire knowledge. While this method supports the scientific community, other disciplines such as art and design have their own systems. This course covers various creative techniques that can be used to disseminate scientific research. The creative process is highly personal, but the components can be broken down, analysed and taught. We will focus on paths that lead to creation, exploring strategies such as Visual Thinking and Design Thinking and the use of applied mathematics along the way. The course will be a dynamic, participative, entertaining way to delve into the finer details of the creative process.
