Presentation

What makes a research project attractive (or not) to the biophamaceutical industry? Our Entrepreneur-in-Residence, Horacio Moreno, will present the perspective of the biopharmaceutical sector and some common criteria used to select and evaluate external biomedical research projects. Horacio will also provide a few tips on how to approach investors or companies in the sector with regard to promoting the transfer of academic projects to society.

Key points that will be addressed during the talk:

  • Language. Speaking the same language is essential to connect.
  • Size matters (a lot!). A few numbers.
  • The right approach to partners. Priorities and global perspective.
  • Understanding industry needs in order to identify common goals.

If you want to find out how your science connects with industry and how it can be transformed to reach society, this workshop is for you!
