Results about: stroma
The Signalling and Cell Cycle Laboratory focuses on studying the basic mechanisms of cell regulation, especially regarding how external signals are interpreted by cells to modulate cell proliferation, differentiation and survival. Our research centers on two main subjects:
IRB Barcelona and Merus form a research collaboration to develop antibodies targeting the tumor microenvironment
The research collaboration will combine Merus’ Biclonics technology platform and unique cell and animal models at the Colorectal Cancer Laboratory led by Eduard Batlle to investigate the stroma.
The IRB Barcelona group leader and ICREA Professor has been recognized in the category of preclinical research for his contributions to the understanding of colon cancer.
Since 2002, these awards have recognized excellence in biomedical research in Spain.
Eduard Batlle receives the “Premio Ciencias de la Salud” from the “Fundación Caja Rural de Granada”
