The VALUNI call, run by the Government of Catalonia, promotes the commercialisation of technologies by supporting key activities that facilitate the licensing of patents and/or creation of technology-based companies. In 2016, the Innovation Department was awarded this grant for global activities. In addition, in 2017, two translational projects promoted by the department received funding.
