MGS Foundation Supports Research

The MGS Foundation —the charitable and social responsibility foundation linked to MGS Seguros, a Spanish insurance company— has reinforced its collaboration with IRB Barcelona by supporting the launch of a new research laboratory in mitochondrial biology and tissue regeneration, led by Dr. Ana Victoria Lechuga-Vieco.
The support has strengthened the Institute’s capacity to study the causes of immune system failure in diseases such as cancer and heart failure, as well as to explore new therapeutic strategies to improve patient outcomes and responses to immunotherapy.
