The MGS Foundation is reaffirming its commitment to biomedical research by promoting and supporting the launch of our new Mitochondrial Biology and Tissue Regeneration laboratory, led by Dr. Ana Victoria Lechuga-Vieco.
This laboratory focuses on studying the factors that contribute to immune system failure in diseases such as cancer and heart failure, as well as identifying new therapeutic options that will improve patients' quality of life and their response to immunotherapies.
As part of its Educational Workshop Series, the MGS Foundation organized a conference attended by over 600 people, including employees, clients, and suppliers, all of whom had the opportunity to learn more about the work being carried out in this innovative laboratory.
"We at IRB Barcelona are grateful to the MGS Foundation for their commitment to and support of biomedical research," says Oriol Alsina, Head of Fundraising and Communication.
