Currently, her research activity is focused on the mechanisms mediating the cross-talk among some nuclear hormone receptors, in particular the glucocorticoid receptor (GR) and the peroxisome-proliferators activated receptor (PPAR) γ, and the mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPKs), and on the analysis of the hormone actions mediated by these interactions, such as the anti-inflammatory and anti-diabetic actions of glucocorticoids and thiazolidinediones, respectively. She has supervised 2 doctoral thesis and published 28 articles cited in Med-Line.
