IRB Barcelona has secured €1.58 million from the European Union to launch a doctoral programme in advanced biomedical research, building on its experience in previous EU-funded training initiatives. The programme will train international PhD researchers through an interdisciplinary approach combining basic science, translational research, and professional skills development.
It will foster collaboration between academia and other sectors, offering high-level scientific training alongside transferable skills. The initiative aims to support research careers and contribute to advances in understanding and treating complex diseases.
