The competition "La Vanguardia de la ciencia", organized by the newspaper “La Vanguardia” and the Catalunya - La Pedrera Foundation, has chosen research performed at IRB Barcelona as one of the best eight pieces of research work performed in Spain in 2013. "A protein against cancer " by Raúl Méndez, on the potential of CPEB proteins to combat cancer, figures among the eight finalists.
The prize is given to the candidate who receives most votes from readers.
