Time. What a curious thing.
We need it like the water we drink, but we cannot buy it. It is the same for everyone, but its perception changes depending on age. For children, an hour seems like an eternity. For those of us who are already getting on in years, an hour feels like five minutes.
How much time do we have left to live? We don't know. Fortunately. Because this way we can deceive ourselves and live with the illusion that our time will never run out. And that often leads us to waste it. Sometimes because we want to. Sometimes because of things that are not up to us. The bus that doesn't arrive. The queue at the supermarket. The show that starts late. We spend our lives waiting.
And in life, some things do not wait. Like cancer.
Every day, cancer forces its way without asking permission into the lives of thousands of people like Anna Bacardit. The woman who has inspired this campaign and made it possible through a fortunate coincidence.
When Anna told us one day that she worked at CANADA, the best music video production company in this country (they are the creators of the videos for Rosalía and Rigoberta Bandini), we didn't hesitate. We asked her if her company would be willing to collaborate by selflessly producing the video for a campaign we had in mind. The answer came a few weeks later, directly from the mouth of Alba Barneda, the Production Director at CANADA: “We will be delighted to collaborate with you.”
What a pleasure, Canadians, it has been to do this campaign together! What talent your entire team has! How carefully you look after your people and what social responsibility you have shown towards all the people who live under the threat of cancer!
