The Innovation Department invites you to meet & greet our next speaker in the series, Daniele Lo Re, PhD, Professor at the University of Granada. Former Scientific Services Manager at Chiesi España. Member of the IRB Barcelona Alumni.

 Daniele will share insights into his combined experience in the pharmaceutical industry, and also as an academic researcher and university professor. His profile will help participants to better understand these two different career paths and how they relate.

Bridges to Industry is a meet & greet programme set up by the Innovation Dept. It provides participants the opportunity to meet key professionals in the bio sector and expand and/or consolidate a professional network. Schedule of the session:

Sessions are open to all IRB members (places limited). In addition, a number of places are reserved for IRB Barcelona alumni.

Speakers


Daniele Lo Re, PhD, Professor at the University of Granada. Former Scientific Services Manager at Chiesi España. Member of the IRB Barcelona Alumni.

Daniele holds a degree in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technologies from the University of Ferrara, a PhD in Biomedicine from the University of Granada, and an MBA in Pharma & Biotech from the ESAME school. Daniele worked as the Scientific Services Manager of the pharmaceutical company Chiesi Spain for more than 6 years, where he was involved in Medical Governance and Scientific Communication. He recently decided to move back into fundamental research as a professor at the University of Granada. Furthermore, he was previously involved in basic research as a Marie Curie Fellow at the National University of Ireland, Galway, and at IRB Barcelona. Daniele is also the coordinator of the Medical Information Working Group of AMIFE and professor of the "Expert Course in Medical Information in the Pharmaceutical Industry" at San Pablo CEU University (Madrid).
