Presentation

The workshop “How to improve your scientific presentations” is organised by the Dr. Antoni Esteve Foundation.

Designed with a blend of theory and practice, this new course not only covers basic skills in public speaking but also looks at shaping your message, structuring your content and polishing your delivery in order to have a greater impact on your audience. Defining a message, having a central objective, establishing a narrative, imposing a structure and attractive design of slides are some of the keys to capturing and holding public attention.

With a combination of plenary sessions and workshops with small groups, the course will take place over five days (November 22, 23, 25, 26 and 29, 2021). The course is coordinated by Brian McCarthy.

Dates and Time: November 22, 23, 25, 26 and 29, 2021, from 9:30 to 12:15  CET (all sessions)

Place: Online

Audience: Early-stage PhD researchers

The workshop is free of charge and has limited places. Participants must attend all sessions. To register, please fill in the registration form here before 30 September. A confirmation email will be sent.
