El investigador del IRB Barcelona, Salvador Aznar Benitah, recibe el "Premi Ciutat de Barcelona" 2016

Salvador Aznar Benitah, investigador ICREA en el IRB Barcelona, ha sido galardonado con el "Premi Ciutat de Barcelona" 2016, en la categoría de Ciencias de la vida. El Ayuntamiento de Barcelona ha reconocido la relevancia de su investigación, publicada en la revista Nature.

La ceremonia de entrega de premios, presidida por la alcaldesa de Barcelona, Ada Colau, y el teniente de alcaldía de Empresa, Cultura e Innovación, Jaume Collboni, ha tenido lugar el 16 de febrero, en el “Saló de Cent” del Ayuntamiento .

Created in 2005 by the Generalitat de Catalunya (Government of Catalonia) and University of Barcelona, IRB Barcelona is a Severo Ochoa Centre of Excellence, a seal that was awarded in 2011.
