The Innovation Department invites you to meet & greet our next speaker in the series, Marie-Eve Beaulieu, PhD, General Manager at Nostrum Biodiscovery.
Marie-Eve will share her experience as a biotech executive and pharmacologist whose career bridges academic discovery and company building.
Bridges to Industry is a meet & greet programme set up by the Innovation Dept. It provides participants the opportunity to meet key professionals in the bio sector and expand and/or consolidate a professional network. Schedule of the session:

Marie-Eve Beaulieu, PhD, General Manager at Nostrum Biodiscovery.
Marie-Eve Beaulieu is a biotech executive and pharmacologist whose career bridges academic discovery and company building. Her transition from academia to industry began early — after a PhD in Pharmacology at the Université de Sherbrooke (structural biology of Myc/Max), she moved into industry as a postdoctoral fellow at Theratechnologies Inc., then returned to research at Vall d'Hebron Institute of Oncology, where she purified Omomyc and discovered its cell-penetrating properties.
That discovery became the foundation of Peptomyc, which she co-founded in 2014. Over more than a decade as CSO and then Chief Development Officer, she built the company's development engine from the ground up — CMC, regulatory strategy, manufacturing, clinical translation — taking OMO-103 to become the first direct MYC inhibitor to complete Phase I trials (Nature Medicine, 2024), while co-leading fundraising that secured over €50M in venture capital and EU grants and building a global IP portfolio of 10+ patent families.
Since April 2026, she has brought that company-building experience to Nostrum Biodiscovery as General Manager, leading one of Europe's leading computational drug discovery companies — scaling its AI-driven platforms across targeted protein degradation, nucleic acids, and protein engineering from Barcelona to a growing presence in Boston.
She is the author of 31 peer-reviewed publications and 8 patent applications, and a regular keynote speaker and session chair at PEGS Boston and PEGS Europe.
