The next session of Bridges to Industry is on 15th December 2020!
Join us in the next meet & greet session organized by Innovation Department to meet our invited speaker: Helena Roura, PhD, Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) at UCB and IRB Barcelona Alumni.
Helena Roura will share her experience as an MSL in the industrial sector and explain how her position contributes to generating value in the drug development process. In this regard, she will give an overview of her involvement in two pharmaceutical companies, namely Novartis and UCB.
Bridges to Industry is a meet & greet programme set up by the Innovation Department. It aims to provide you with the opportunity to meet key professionals in the bio sector to expand and/or consolidate your network. Schedule of the session:

Helena studied Pharmacy at the University of Barcelona (UB), did her PhD at the Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB Barcelona) and has an MBA from ENEB Business School.
Her PhD at IRB Barcelona was focused on biomedical studies of gene translation and its regulation, and the development of related therapeutic strategies. After finishing her PhD in 2018, she started working at the Medical Affairs Department of Novartis Pharmaceuticals. In 2019, she was promoted to Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for the Madrid area. In 2020, she moved to UCB Pharma in Barcelona
