Cope, ABC, La Rioja, entre altres mitjans, han publicat un article sobre les inscripcions a la IV Cursa de la Dona per la Recerca, de l'Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer (AECC). Els recursos que s'obtinguin d'aquesta cursa s'utilitzaran per finançar dues beques predoctorals en dues institucions a La Rioja. Així mateix, es finançarà el projecte "Investigació sobre l'impacte senescència influïda per inflamació com a teràpia sobre les cèl·lules mare del càncer", liderat per Marta Kovatcheva, investigadora de l'IRB Barcelona.
