Meritxell Teixidó, investigadora de l'IRB Barcelona, ha estat entrevistada al programa documental ¡Qué animal! de La 2 de TVE sobre el seu treball amb pèptids del verí d'escorpins i abelles per trobar fàrmacs que puguin arribar al cervell. "Aquests verins són capaços d'arribar al cervell i d'aquí donar la seva toxicitat, i això és el que ens atrau a nosaltres per poder buscar-hi aplicacions", explica Teixidó.
