In 2024, IRB Barcelona welcomed two new laboratories in paediatric cancer and tissue regeneration, celebrated Dr. Eduard Batlle’s Catalan National Research Award and launched the €4.4 million ADAPTMET network to train metastasis specialists. By hosting the 41st and 42nd Barcelona BioMed Conferences and receiving numerous other awards and recognitions, we continue to attract and empower top scientific talent worldwide.
