La Vanguardia, ABC, El Punt Avui, ARA, Diario Médico, Breast Cancer News, El Mundo, entre altres mitjans nacionals i internacionals, han publicat un article sobre l'últim treball liderat per l'IRB Barcelona i dirigit per l'investigador Roger Gomis, en el qual s’identifica una proteïna involucrada en el manteniment de l'estadi latent les metàstasis del càncer de mama. Aquest treball permet comprendre a nivell molecular com la pèrdua d'expressió de determinats gens facilita l'expansió de les lesions metastàtiques.

About IRB Barcelona

Created in 2005 by the Generalitat de Catalunya (Government of Catalonia) and University of Barcelona, IRB Barcelona is a Severo Ochoa Centre of Excellence, a seal that was awarded in 2011.
