"La proteïna CPEB4 és clau en l'autisme"

El diari La Vanguardia ha publicat una entrevista a Raúl Méndez, investigador de l'IRB Barcelona, i José J. Lucas, del Centre de Biologia Molecular Severo Ochoa del CSIC, sobre l'estudi, relacionat amb l'autisme, que competeix pel premi Vanguardia de la Ciència: "que hi hagi factors ambientals involucrats en l'autisme no vol dir que les vacunes siguin un d'aquests factors ambientals. La presumpta relació entre vacunació infantil i autisme no té cap base. CPEB4 influeix en el desenvolupament del sistema nerviós sobretot durant l'etapa prenatal i els nens no reben vacunes abans de néixer ", va afirmar Raúl Méndez.
