Diversos mitjans s'han fet ressó de la investigació de Roger Gomis publicada aquest setembre al Journal of National Cancer Institute. L'article relacionava l'alteració del gen MAF en pacients de càncer de mama amb metàstasi òssia. Aquest coneixement podria accelerar el desenvolupament del primer tractament preventiu per a la metàstasi d'aquest tipus.
