Various media channels have echoed the study by Roger Gomis published in the Journal of National Cancer Institute in September. The paper revealed a link between an alteracion in the MAF gene in breast cancer patients, and bone metastasis. This breakthrough may accelerate the development of the first preventive treatment for this kind of metastasis.
