The Innovation Department and Academic Office invite you to meet & greet our next speaker in the series, Susana Costa-Barros, PhD, Compliance Consultant at GxP-CC and member of the IRB Barcelona Alumni
Susana will share her experience as a compliance consultant in the Pharmaceutical Industry and explain the support and advice that she gives to pharmaceutical companies to ensure that their manufacturing guarantees product quality and patient safety. 

Bridges to Industry is a meet & greet programme set up by the Innovation Department in collaboration with the Academic Office. It provides participants the opportunity to meet key professionals in the bio sector and expand and/or consolidate a professional network. Schedule of the session:

Sessions are open to all IRB members (places limited). In addition, a number of places are reserved for IRB Barcelona alumni.

Speakers

Susana Costa-Barros, PhD, Compliance Consultant at GxP-CC

 

Susana Costa-Barros holds a PhD in Biomedicine from the University of Barcelona (2020). She conducted her doctoral research in Antonio Zorzano’s Lab (IRB Barcelona), where she focused her studies on the role of mitochondrial dynamics linked to mitochondrial UPR in liver metabolic adaptation. Before joining IRB Barcelona, Susana worked as a researcher at various institutions in Portugal (University of Aveiro), Spain (University of Barcelona) and the United Kingdom (University of Cambridge). Upon receiving her PhD degree, she moved to Germany to join GxP-CC, where she trained and began a career in compliance consultancy in the Pharmaceutical Industry. As a compliance consultant at GxP-CC, Susana supports and advises pharmaceutical companies to ensure that their manufacturing guarantees product quality and patient safety.
