The newspaper Diario Médico has published an interview with Joan Guinovart, director of the Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB Barcelona) and president of the Spanish Confederation of Scientific Societies (Cosce). The interview addresses the state of science in Spain and covers topics as diverse as the MIR exam for future doctors and the lack of a science advisory board in the Congress. ‘The training, attraction and retention of talent are the key to our future,’ says Guinovart.
