Scientist Ernest Giralt, IRB Barcelona programme coordinator in Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology, evaluates the discovery of three new genes related to Alzheimer’s disease for the Catalan TV News. The study performed by researchers in France and Great Britain open the door to explore new treatments for a disease that affects 26 million people worldwide.
