Several media outlets, social networks and internet sites highlight a project launched by Spain's Centro de Biología Molecular Severo Ochoa in Madrid and IRB Barcelona to fight Friedreich's ataxia. The project is financed through donations from Plataforma Genefa.

About IRB Barcelona

The Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB Barcelona) pursues a society free of disease. To this end, it conducts multidisciplinary research of excellence to cure cancer and other diseases linked to ageing.
