IRB Barcelona director, Joan J. Guinovart, gets a green light from “El Periódico de Catalunya” for the "Crazy About Biomedicine" course, an initiative targeted at youngsters and supported by the “Fundació Catalunya- La Pedrera”. The journalist Antonio Madridejos devotes Monday’s article to training programmes run by the Centre for Genomic Regulation and IRB Barcelona that seek to promote scientific vocation among young students.

The Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB Barcelona) pursues a society free of disease.
