School visit to an IRB Barcelona research laboratory

The Catalan television channel "betevé" broadcasted a "Catakrac" programme about a school (Escola Fluvià) visit to the Design, Synthesis and Structure of Peptides and Proteins Lab at IRB Barcelona, in which they discovered how real science works. 

The students are developing a research project about Friedreich’s Ataxia, supported by the RecerCaixa Programme.

The Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB Barcelona) pursues a society free of disease.
