Researchers describe the structures of several vital proteins for cellular exchange

The specialized medical newspaper Diario Médico reports on results recently published by scientists at IRB Barcelona that describe the 3D structures adopted by a number of critical cell transporters. Headed by Manuel Palacín and ICREA professor José Luis Vázquez, the study has been published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America (PNAS), one of the most cited journals in biological, physical and social sciences.
