BIST awards three multidisciplinary projects for the Ignite Programme’s second phase

GenStorm (“An integrated approach to visualize and model the spatial conformation of genes at the nanoscale level”), led by Pablo Daniel Dans (IRB Barcelona) and Marie Victoire Neguembor (CRG) is one of this projects.

Europe picks Barcelona as the venue for the first symposium of young biomedical researchers

From 15 to 17 November, the first international ENABLE symposium—which is fully booked—will bring together 300 PhD students and postdocs from all around Europe.

ENABLE is the first scientific symposium organised by and for young scientists and it includes scientific talks, a Career day and outreach activities.

The European Union will finance four ENABLE symposia in various European cities up to 2020.

Biomedicine in the city for everyone

IRB Barcelona proposes activities targeted to a wide public audience during Science Week 2017.

The programme includes a visit by more than 100 school children to the centre, microtalks in pubs and debates on hot topics with well-known figures such as Andreu Mas-Colell and Isona Passola.

The activities offered by Science Week are included in the programme of the 1st ENABLE Symposium, aimed at young biomedical scientists, which will be held in Barcelona from 15 to 17 November.

BIST awards the first five “Ignite” multidisciplinary projects with 20,000€ each
