Abstract

Identification of the mechanism of action of small molecules is one of the main roadblocks in drug development. In the last years, I have developed genetic and chemoproteomic tools to unequivocally identify the target of small molecules with anti-cancer activity. These tools have led to the discovery of the target of a small molecule currently in clinical trials for the treatment of Ewing sarcoma.
