On the occasion of the "International Day of Women and Girls in Science", the web portal Núvol has published an article highlighting 25 women researchers who are developing leading projects in science and technology in Spain. One of them is Núria López-Bigas, head of the Biomedical Genomics Laboratory at IRB Barcelona, who studies cancer from a genomic perspective and develops computational methods to identify the genetic mutations responsible for the development of tumours.
