A 20-minute interview with Roger Gomis about cancer's sleeping cells, broadcast on Onda Cero's science and technology programme, Partiendo de Cero. The IRB and ICREA expert on breast cancer metastasis explains the current state of research on tumour cells that are able to survive surgery and chemotherapy and reproduce themselves in the form of metastasis.

At IRB, several research groups are trying to understand the mechanisms behind the latency of these sleeping cells in order to come up with treatments to fight them.

Listen to the interview in the website Partiendo de Cero - From minute 7:47 to minute 27:30.
