Two columns in the newspaper AVUI echo the Banc Sabadell award received by the IRB Barcelona researcher, Eduard Batlle. His work on colorectal cancer has been recognised by the jury, which has granted him Spain’s largest prize for young researchers.

The Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB Barcelona) pursues a society free of disease. To this end, it conducts multidisciplinary research of excellence to cure cancer and other diseases linked to ageing.
