The newspaper “La Vanguardia” interviews Manuel Serrano, group leader of the Cellular Plasticity and Disease Lab, on the occasion of his recent incorporation to IRB Barcelona thanks to the ICREA programme and the Obra Social "la Caixa". In the interview, the ICREA researcher explains the reasons that have led him to make the leap from cancer to regenerative medicine and to choose the Institute to continue his career.

"Biology is an endless quest, and the questions I ask myself are very different from the ones I asked myself when I started, but you realize that even though we have advanced a lot, our knowledge stills very incomplete," says Manuel Serrano.
