Several media have echoed the election of Núria López-Bigas, ICREA Research Professor and group leader of the Biomedical Genomics Lab at IRB Barcelona, as European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) Member.

EMBO has announced the membership of 65 new outstanding life scientists—these joining a group of more than 1700 of the best researchers in Europe and around the world.

The Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB Barcelona) pursues a society free of disease.
