SINC, El Público, Catalunya Vanguardista and the newspaper Heraldo de Aragón, have published an article about the process and conditions that triggers cancer according to a study published in the journal Science that raises new theories about aging. The article includes the opinion of Salvador Aznar Benitah, ICREA researcher at IRB Barcelona, about the study: "it is a very well done piece of work, with a very sophisticated analysis. We tend to think that the tumour tissue has mutations and the healthy one does not, but that is not the case. Healthy tissue can accumulate changes and appear normal, but it is no longer a normal tissue. "
