La Vanguardia publishes an article in the supplement Qui on the career of Salvador Aznar Benitah, the recipient of the Banc Sabadell Prize for Biomedical Research.

Aznar Benitah explains a number of experiences during his career and up to his appointment as group leader at IRB. The researcher emphasizes that the conditions at IRB equal those those found in the best institutes in the world.

The Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB Barcelona) pursues a society free of disease.
