Article by Cristina Sáez on Women Entrepreneurs for the ES supplement of La Vanguardia. Among those in the spotlight is Teresa Tarragó, who in 2011, together with Ernest Giralt, set up Iproteos. Specializing in drug discovery for diseases that affect the central nervous system, this biotech company came about as a result of research performed by Tarragó and Giralt in the Peptides and Proteins Lab at IRB Barcelona.

The Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB Barcelona) pursues a society free of disease.
