The Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, through the State Research Agency,  has awarded the Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB Barcelona) €237,500 to carry out the project “Fostering IRB Barcelona internationalisation and H2020 participation” (IRBInterH)”, an action supported by the  “Europa Redes y Gestores-Europa Centros Tecnológicos 2019” call (Plan Estatal de Investigación Científica y Técnica y de Innovación 2017-2020).

The IRBInterH project will boost internationalisation, one of IRB Barcelona´s strategic goals. Likewise, it will also strengthen the participation of the institute in H2020, one of the key internationalization actions identified by the centre.

The Projects Office at IRB Barcelona was set up 10 years ago with the aim to foster research excellence and internationalization. With the funding obtained through this call, the Office intends to, on the one hand, maintain and consolidate the number of individual projects and, on the other, to boost the participating of the institute in collaborative projects and increase the number of projects in which it acts as coordinator.
