IRB Barcelona ICREA researcher, Xavier Salvatella, has been interviewed by Mark Peczuh, an associate professor of Chemistry at the University of Connecticut who is spending some time in Barcelona with a Fullbright fellowship. In the interview, posted in the portal ScienceGeist, Dr. Peczuh compared IRB Barcelona with the HHMI's Janelia Farm, a pioneering research center where scientists pursue biology's biggest challenges in a singular innovative and collaborative environment. Xavier Salvatella talks about his lab research on protein-protein interactions, the biomedical projects his lab is tackling, and his positive impressions about the center and Barcelona as a place to work and live.
